I had an amazing stay at this country B&B in Cumbria. The room was top-notch, clean and comfy, with a picturesque view of the river. The staff, headed by Deborah and her daughter, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They even woke up early to serve me tea and toast before my RSPB trek, and upon my return, I enjoyed a delicious, full breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore the beautiful Cumbrian countryside.

During our two-week trip, our stay at Lancercost Equestrian was by far our favorite accommodation. The property is lovely, with tasteful renovations and all modern conveniences, while still maintaining the charm and historical meaning of the farm. The stone stables and horses added to the peaceful country feel. We were able to enjoy the public footpaths for evening walks and hiked stretches of Hadrian's Wall during the day. The breakfasts kept us fueled for hours and the ever-changing dinner menu offered delicious food in the comfort of "home" each evening. The owners, Deborah and McKenna, were attentive, warm, and friendly, making us feel cared for while also respecting our privacy. our stay at Lancercost Equestrian was a highlight of our trip.

I had the most amazing stay at this lovely, cosy little place. The location was perfect for walkers, just a short distance from the Hadrian's Wall walk. The room I stayed in was incredibly comfortable, with a huge bathroom featuring a roll top bath. The views from the room were stunning and I even spotted some wildlife. The breakfast options were great, catering to all preferences. Although the WiFi could be better, it seems to be an issue with farm stays in the UK. I highly recommend this hidden gem and I can't wait to return.

This place has absolutely everything! Fabulous rooms with attention to detail and lots of little extras. the bathroom was amazing and had beautiful views. the evening meal was delicious and much appreciated after a long journey. the boot dryer and place to leave wet things was a lifesaver after a muddy walk. the bed was incredibly comfy and we had a great night's sleep. the breakfast was fantastic and cooked to order. a fantastic stay with kindness and hospitality.
